Food for Change: Talking Trash
The York Region Food Charter Working Group and partners are pleased to host the third annual Food for Change event! Food for Change: Talking Trash explores the impact of food waste on our communities.

Food for Change: Talking Trash will take place Friday April 4, 2014 from 8:30am to 2pm at Markham Convergence Centre (7271 Warden Avenue, Markham, L3R 5X5).

This is a free event, open to all. A light breakfast and lunch will be served.

Spaces are limited so register early to avoid disappointment.

Food charter gets go-ahead from Markham
Markham is taking the next step to ensure food security for you.

Earlier this week, general committee endorsed the Markham Food Charter. The city is one of the only municipalities in the region to take the region’s food charter to the next level by creating a charter for Markham residents.
